Generally speaking, most customers who have been engaged in the blister industry for many years have the ability to make their own judgment and choose the right blister machine for production. However, most customers may need the help of the blister packaging manufacturer to decide which type of thick sheet molding machine to use, or even the customer may only have the product samples or ideas, and then ask the blister packaging manufacturer whether the machine can be produced, or which type is more suitable.

In general, important factors for selection include mold, product, type of plastics and yield requirements, etc. Therefore, the following information must be collected or available before selection:

Product outline dimensions (length, width, height);

Product wall thickness;

Type and quantity of products used;

After obtaining the above information, you can follow the following steps to select a suitable thick-sheet blister machine:

1. The maximum contour size of the product determines the well head size of the machine. A small thick film machine is selected below the molding area of 1.5 square meters, a medium thick film machine is selected between 1.5 and 3.7 square meters, and a large thick film machine is selected above 3.7 square meters.

2. If the wall thickness of the product is between 1.5-2mm, the stretching ratio (the ratio of height/length + the average size of width) of the product is larger than 1, the double-layer heating type should be selected; if less than 1, the single-layer heating type should be selected.

If the wall thickness of the product is below 1.5mm, no matter how big the stretching ratio is, (of course, if the stretching ratio is more than 1.5mm, the product should not be blister) then the single-layer heating model can be adopted.

If the wall thickness of the product is above 2MM, the single-layer heating type should be selected for the stretching ratio below 0.5, and the double-layer heating type should be selected for the stretching ratio above 0.5.

3. Choose according to the type and quantity of the product, if the product is relatively single and the quantity is relatively large, and the annual output is more than 6,000-80,000, choose double-station or multi-station models. If product specification is more, onefold quantity is less, choose single working position is advisable, and choose heating unit one control one, pressing material frame and supporting material plate can be adjusted, the model with convenient mold change is good, thick film is suction-plastic production mostly use resin or electric wood as appropriate.
